With over 90 years’ experience we assist the legal sector and local authorities with every element of estate administration. Each referral is treated on a case-by-case basis as we pride ourselves on our commitment and clarity. Our clients are diverse and so are their requests, which is why we offer a wide range of services.

International Case Assistant

This roles involves similar responsibilities to a Case Assistant but with a focus on international cases. While language skills are desirable, they are not essential.

International Case Assistant
Travelling Senior Researcher – Cambridgeshire

You will be working alongside our Case Managers, travelling to pick up required documents and meeting potential beneficiaries face-to-face. Employment is offered on an ad-hoc arrangement.

The successful candidates will have experience in the police force (or other similar public sector work), and are likely to be looking for additional work post retirement.

The use of a car insured for business use is a prerequisite. All other equipment and training is provided.

Unlike other genealogists we are strong believers that all our employees are awarded for the work they do. Therefore, we do not offer internships, or apprenticeships as this goes against our beliefs in guaranteed receipt of at least the London Living Wage. We do not offer commission, sign-up bonuses or other variable pay (money determined by sales activities), as we believe that all departments within the business, are fundamental for its success.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary as a partnership in 2019, and in the same year won the awards for Paralegal Business of the Year at the UK’s National Paralegal Awards.

In 2020, we were very pleased to in be winners of the Paralegal Firm of the Year at the National Paralegal Awards. Neil Fraser went on to win Paralegal of Year (UK). In 2021, the firm went on to win Probate Research Firm of the Year at the British Wills and Probate Awards.
